News Paunch is a news satire website.
The names, events, and information mentioned in the news articles published on News Paunch would be entirely fictitious and made up, however, they are not intended to spread fake news or misinformation. More than often, almost every news article would be referring to a real event at that point of time and bring out the absurdities related to that event.
In sort, News Paunch news reports satirizes real incidents to deliver a satirical commentary.
Some of the older articles on News Paunch – published before the year 2026 – are part of an erstwhile website called Junta Ka Reporter, which was also a news satire website. Those articles were specific in nature as they satirized a particular website, which was known to openly favour a particular political party.
News Paunch is not limited to satirize any articular website, even though the name sounds similar to some existing news platforms.
News Paunch is currently operated from India and it aims to deliver sociopolitical commentary via humour and satire. This was not the main objective of Junta Ka Reporter, which had a very narrow focus and mandate.

JKR was founded by Mofat Javed, a journalist who had earlier worked for media organizations like BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, etc. but he realized that none of these were a perfect media house. He founded JKR as that perfect entity.
JKR has brought media revolution in India already, and soon the entire world will be covered by JKR. Media revolution was never so easy.
